Admission criteria

Admission to all academic courses follows the University of Rwanda (UR) application rules.
For other programmes, participants or candidates are selected per the requirements of the Rwanda National Police.

Admission requirements

Programme/Course Requirements
Undergraduate Programmes/Courses - Meeting admission criteria set by the University of Rwanda.
- Aged between 18 and 23.
- Healthy and physically fit.
- Being single.
- Presenting clean criminal record certificate.
- Presenting certificate of good conduct.
Master’s combined the Police Senior Command and Staff Course -Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
-Being a senior Police officer/law enforcer or holding a senior office in his/her institution.
-Healthy and physically fit.
Police Junior Command and Staff Course (PJCSC) - Healthy and physically fit.
- Being a Superitendent of Police (SP) or Chief Inspector of Police (CIP) and equivalent ranks or office positions.
- Having completed the PTCC or equivalent.
- English Language proficiency.
- Healthy and physically fit.
Police Tactical Command Course (PTCC) - Chief Inspector of Police (CIP) and an Inspector of Police (IP) or equivalent rank and office position.
- English Language proficiency.
- Healthy and physically fit.
Specialized Courses - Any police officer or law enforcer nominated by his/her institution.
- English Language proficiency.
- Healthy and physically fit.

Registration procedure

The college administration helps course candidates and participants to get registered upon their arrival at the college.
